Today is a very important day in history. Today is the day when America (and the rest of the world who can’t wait for their television programming schedule to catch up) finally get to watch Blair Waldorf walk down the aisle. However this doesn’t necessarily mean that we’ll see her become a Princess. Or that we’ll see her marry anyone for that matter. What it does guarantee is an hour of absolutely nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat style TV.


So who are the potential husbands? Well, B is currently betroved to Prince Louis Grimaldi of Monaco and the pair were about to be parents, until Blair’s involvement in the same tragic car accident which drove her out of Chuck’s arms and back into Louis’. The Royal Wedding has been months in the making, we’ve seen the engagement bash, the amazing Tiffany & Co. themed bridal shower and the very entertaining bachelorette party. We’ve also seen Louis’ total distrust of Blair, his sister Beatrice’s scheming ways and the fact that Blair is only with him because she promised God she wouldn’t be with Chuck. Yes, it has been a rocky road for this pair, but will Blair’s Cinderella story have a happy ending?


Not if it’s anything to do with Mr Daniel Humphrey. Once an unlikely suitor for Queen B, Dan and Blair’s friendship has evolved over the seasons to include Blair taking Dan’s scheme virginity, a movie or two, and THAT KISS. Since then, Lonely Boy has been B’s number one confidant, attempting to get her and Chuck back together despite his own feelings, putting her happiness above all else. What a guy! With Penn Badgley himself admitting he thinks Dan is Blair’s soulmate, could Miss Waldorf’s future lie in Brooklyn? With recent episodes suggesting that Serena’s feelings for Dan have been reignited this could make for some verrrry interesting storylines. BFF brawl anyone?


Our third and final contender holds my heart, Blair’s heart and the heart of a million girls across the world, thanks to those three little words… “I’m Chuck Bass”. Swoon. Charles Bartholomew Bass has gone from bad boy to broken man following the loss of the one thing he needs in the world- Blair Waldorf. From their never ending war of words in their younger years, to shacking up in the back of Chuck’s limo, those other three little words and that Bass-tard uncle, these two have put each other through the wringer. Yet they are so absolutely unbelievably perfect together. Dolls, we all know Chuck won’t go down without a fight, so get those tissues at the ready and prepare for tears!
