Those of you who don’t know me may think that my blog baby is the one and only thing going on in my life… well dolls, you couldn’t be more wrong, I am one busy Barbie! I go to university, I work, I play… hard. But anyway, back to the work part. My current job at River Island means that I get a tidy discount on my threads, but those days are numbered, as I start my shiny new job in two weeks! More about that at a later date!



Today I decided I best take full advantage of my RI discount before I have to go back to paying full price again… boo. So what did I buy? Welllll I just had to have some bright coral skinnys (£40). I’ve been eyeing these babies up for a while and decided they would inject some much-needed colour into my pre-spring wardrobe. For now I’ll be pairing them with cosy cardigans, but when the sun eventually comes out to play so will this chevron striped vest (£10).Tres Aztec!



My new job also requires some chic outfits so I thought that was a good excuse to buy this monochrome striped skater dress(£40). I am loving fit and flare dresses right now, they’re oh-so-flattering, which is why I bought another one! My boss said I was the only person she knew who could pull off this barbie pink frock (£30), so I just had to have it, and I’d say it suits my image down to a T.



My final purchase today was this white diamante trim shirt (£28). This baby just screams KARL! I’ll be rocking it with black leather leggings and some killer shoe booties. Aaaah staff discount, I’ll miss you, but it’s time to move on to a new chapter.
