Last night’s Grammy Awards were all about three girls. Our very own Adele scooped six Grammys, making her only the second person to manage six Grammy wins in one night- Beyonce was the first. Now that is a cool club!
Throughout the night the stars paid tribute to the legendary Ms Houston, who was also honoured with a total of six Grammys throughout her career. Rapper LL Cool J led the memorial, asking the audience to pray for Whitney. He said: “How do we speak to this time, to this day? There is no way around this. We’ve had a death in our family. At least to me, the only thing that seems right is to start with a prayer for our fallen sister, Whitney Houston.”
The final femme fatale who had everyone talking was, of course, Katy Perry. The blue haired beauty debuted new single Part Of Me, a song which we can only assume was written about estranged husband Russell Brand. Check out the video for one heck of a performance!
